A highland estate focused on restoring natural habitats and native woodland.
Statement from NatureScot Operations Officer for East Sutherland following a visit to the estate in 2023:
“It was a privilege to visit this spectacular estate and it was good to see some excellent proactive management underway, including a great deal of extensive tree planting. It was also lovely to see some areas of excellent, species-rich blanket bog habitat and bog pools.”
The Estate received a decision from Scottish Ministers dated 2 April 2025 confirming the decision to issue a 'Notice of Confirmation of a Section 8 Control Scheme'. The Estate is considering the terms of the decision and notes that an appeal may be made by 2 May 2025. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this stage.
